B-Boy Original

This is one of my favorite photographs from 2014 thus far. I caught his pose on the third try, and the designers at Scene Magazine added some fine blur in the background.

The photo complements my long interview with local breakdancer Daisun Santana, who discusses the importance of hip-hop culture in cities’ growth and the need for artistic expression in an individual neighborhood’s evolution.
